Uma Vida com História: Cláudio Torres

Published in the year that the Director of the Archaeological Field of Mértola completed 80, the work is structured in three parts, based on conversations / interviews with the biographer, as well as family members. In this work 87 pages of documents appear, the result of careful research carried out in the ANTT PIDE / DGS Archives, covering the periods from 1961 to 1973. It also presents a solid biographical chronology, a
detailed Bibliography of Claudio Torres and about Cáudio Torres and 1940 photos. until the 21st century.
On the other hand, in the 25 written statements of extraordinary richness where “(…) recurringly emphasized the qualities, genius and congregational
capacity and enthusiastic and dreamy spirit of Claudius, certainly decisive aspect for the CAM to have reached the level of exception that no other archaeological project has achieved in Portugal.
