Trabalhar com textos de divulgação da ciência na disciplina de Português

O presente artigo dá conta de parte da investigação realizada no âmbito do projeto “Promover a Literacia Científica” (financiado pela FCG, desenvolvido no CLUNL e coordenado por Matilde Gonçalves). Com base na observação, descrição e análise de textos de divulgação científica, nele: I) sintetizamos as principais características dos textos de divulgação científica, ao nível contextual (produtor textual, intenção comunicativa, formato) e textual (conteúdo temático, estrutura e mecanismos linguísticos); II) apresentamos uma proposta de distribuição de (géneros e classes de) textos de divulgação científica pelos vários ciclos de escolaridade, com vista à sua utilização em sala de aula, numa perspetiva de progressão entre ciclos.

This paper reports part of the research carried out under the project "Promoting scientific literacy" (funded by FCG, developed in CLUNL and coordinated by Matilde Gonçalves). Based on observation, description and analysis of scientific dissemination texts, in this work, we: I) synthesize the main characteristics of the texts of scientific dissemination, at the contextual level (textual producer, communicative intention, format) and textual level (thematic content, structure and linguistic mechanisms ); II) present a proposal for the distribution of (genres and classes of) texts of scientific dissemination by the various schooling cycles in Portugal with a view to their use in the classroom, in a perspective of progression between cycles.
