Abstract

High acidity olive oil and olive pomace oil were converted to bioliquids and biogases using vacuum pyrolysis at 420ºC. When an identical process is performed in the presence of olive pomace, solid products (biochars) are also formed. The pyrolysis liquid products were further distilled to yield biofuels adequate for use in combustion engines.
