Abstract

A family of new materials resulting from chemical cross-linking between gelatine and organic salts is provided to be used as a supporter for the biocatalizer immobilization in the manufacture of a sensor / biosensor, conductivive / semi-conductive material, and electrochemical cell or a part of the cell. A synthesis method of new material based on gelatine and organic salts comprises chemical cross-linking between gelatine unit of the formula (I) and organic salts. In the formula (I), X- shows a negative ion of the salt; Y+ shows a positive ion of the salt. The synthesis method performs the mixing of gelatine in aqueous solution having different pH (1-14) and/or ionic strength (0.01-1000 M) at 20-90 C.
