Abstract
Resumo: A partir de um inventário de movimentos de terrenos para o Concelho de Almada, e após o armazenamento desta informação numa base de dados geoespacial, o sistema de informação Geo-Almada (SIGEO-ALMADA), manipulou-se esta e outra informação, em ambiente SIG, tendo-se derivado automaticamente uma carta de susceptibilidade aos movimentos de terrenos para aquele território, na escala 1:10 000. Na presente comunicação apresentam-se as principais etapas empreendidas, as ponderações adoptadas e tecem-se algumas considerações sobre a metodologia seguida e os resultados obtidos.
Abstract: Starting from a mass movement inventory of the territory of Almada Municipality, and afterstoring this information in a geospatial database, called Geo-Almada information system(SIGEO-ALMADA), specific geotechnical information was manipulated, in GIS environment,and an automatically derived landsliding susceptibility map, at the scale of 1:10 000, wasaccomplished for that territory. In this paper, the main steps undertaken along the work, as wellas the weights adopted for the lithological types and slope classes are presented. Finally, somefinal considerations are drawn about the methodology used and the results obtained.
