N2 - This study discusses the effect of the filler on the fatigue behaviour of bitumen-filler mastics by means of strain controlled fatigue tests, with constant and variable load amplitude, implemented in the DSR. Diluted and concentrated mastics were fabricated with two fillers and two bitumens. The results showed that though the generic behaviour is highly dependent on the bitumen, the effect of the filler is not only related to the increase of stiffness but, more importantly, it is seen in the response to repeated loading. Hence, the fatigue performance was significantly more affected by the increase in content of hydraulic lime than of limestone filler.
