Abstract

A strengthening system with subsequently mounted reinforcements is described, with a layout having maximum eccentricity in the highest traction zones, the reinforcements being adhesively anchored inside a structural element along a straight section located after a curve of congruence between this straight section and the surface of the element. The installation of this strengthening system comprises opening holes for fastening the strengthening system to the core of the element being strengthened; creating curves of congruence between the holes and the surface, so as to allow a transition between the strengthening reinforcement and the fastening zone; applying an adhesive agent to the inside of the fastening hole, and mounting the strengthening reinforcements. This system can be used to strengthen structures, and makes it possible to change the mounted strength thereof when using the active reinforcement.
