Abstract

Successfully igniting the yeast glycolytic flux during the transition from gluconeogenic to fermentative growth seems to be a matter of balance and coordination between a multitude of events. The contours of the sugar sensing and signalling pathways that regulate this transition are only beginning to emerge. Copyright (C) 1998 Elsevier Science Ltd.
