Abstract

This volume gathers the first portuguese translation of the now classical Jean Cavaillès' epistemological text - which inspired, among others, Bachelard's, Canguilhem's and Foucault's philosophies of science - and two long presentations of its chapters: the translator's (Nuno Miguel Proença) «Apresentação» and Vasco Correia's «Cavaillès, Husserl e a Matemática dos Matemáticos».
