Abstract
Este texto tem como objetivo dar a conhecer a importância do Livro da Corte Imperial, salientando a contribuição luliana para a discussão filosófico-teológica entre judeus e cristãos, apesar de Portugal não ter tradição em literatura de polémica religiosa durante a Idade Média. O Livro da Corte Imperial é um exemplo. Trata-se de un tratado apologético com caraterísticas próprias e pioneiras em Portugal, assente num debate inter-religioso entre representantes das três religiões monoteístas (cristianismo, judaísmo e islamismo) e os gentios, num cenário particular: a Corte Imperial. A redação deste livro contou com a influência de diversas obras e autores, entre os quais Raimundo Lulo, objeto de discussão.
This text has the objective to know the importance of the Livro da Corte Imperial, to show the importance of Ramon´s Llull contributions for the philosophical and theological discussion between Jewish and Christians. However, Portugal doesn´t have a tradition in literature about the Jewish and Christians controversy during the Middle Age. The Livro da Corte Imperial is an example. It´s an apologetic treaty with it´s own and pioneer characteristic’s in Portugal that consists in a religious discussion among the representative’s of tree monotheist’s religions (Christianity, Judaism and Islam) and the gentiles in a particularity scene: the Imperial court. The redaction of this book had the influence of different works and authors, among them Ramón Llull, the case study.
