Abstract
O projeto Raízes é um projeto de Mediação Cultural e Educação Patrimonial, desenvolvido no ano letivo de 2013/2014, que tem como principal objetivo, estimular e desenvolver competências de jovens alunos dos 2º e 3º ciclos do Ensino Básico, na área do património que resultem na construção de uma "oficina de memória" (pequeno museu da escola), mantendo vivas as raízes do passado. Para tal procura-se articular conhecimentos históricos, culturais e científicos junto da comunidade escolar, num trabalho transversal às áreas do património material e imaterial.
