Abstract

In global networked business environments, organizations need to be able to dynamically adapt themselves to take advantage of market opportunities. Thus, SMEs need to establish collaborative business practices to be able to compete with the big enterprises. However, the challenge is how to award SMEs with a framework that integrates Product Data in the demand of interoperability in e-Business. This paper, after presenting a referential industrial supply chain AS IS scenario, introduces available standards and eBusiness architectures and proposes a solution for an interoperable TO BE scenario. Thus facilitates the integration of product data and interoperability among e-Business services in SME-based industrial scenarios.
