Abstract
Este artigo descreve a conversão de uma unidade curricular de assessoria de imprensa num laboratório de assessoria junto da sociedade civil, levada a cabo em contexto de ensino à distância durante a primeira vaga do COVID-19 em Portugal. Para refletirmos sobre os processos implementados convocamos os conceitos de Relações Públicas (Grunig & Hunt, 1984; Gonçalves, 2010; Ferrari, 2004), planeamento da comunicação (Steyn, 2009) e organizações da sociedade civil (Eiró-Gomes, 2017). O processo decorrido em contexto de crise e em ensino não presencial permitiu auxiliar um grupo da sociedade civil criado para minimizar os efeitos da crise provocada pelo coronavírus no norte de Portugal, aplicando os conceitos e práticas de Relações Públicas.
This article describes the conversion of a press relations course into a civil society consultancy laboratory, carried out in the context of e-learning during the first wave of COVID-19 in Portugal. In order to reflect on the implementedprocesses, we summoned the concepts of Public Relations (Grunig & Hunt, 1984; Gonçalves, 2010; Ferrari, 2004), communication planning (Steyn, 2009) and civil society organizations (Eiró-Gomes, 2017). The process that took place in acontext of crisis and in non-presential teaching allowed to help a civil society group created to minimize the effects of thecrisis caused by the coronavirus in northern Portugal, applying the concepts and practices of Public Relations.
