Abstract
Postdigital citizens are defined by their capacity to critically reflect and act upon political, digital, social, moral, ecological, and other issues. Postdigital citizenship education is continuous and empowered by citizens’ actions and interactions in the postdigital society. Some of the challenges refer to the adoption of a critical stance towards the relationships between the digital and the analog; a conception of civic engagement and participation with a broader view of agency that includes non-human agents; and the raising of awareness towards the risks associated with digitization.
