Abstract

O objetivo deste estudo foi investigar a percepção do contexto de trabalho dos docentes de Terapia Ocupacional de instituições brasileiras e portuguesas. Foi realizada pesquisa quantitativa, observacional e caráter transversal com 56 profissionais. Aplicou-se a Escala de Avaliação do Contexto de Trabalho (EACT) e os resultados foram analisados por análise estatística descritiva. Foram encontradas diferenças entre os dois países, sugerindo que o regime de trabalho e a carga horária impactam nas relações interpessoais e que a organização do trabalho é distinta dependendo da categoria de dedicação. Por fim, percebeu-se que os docentes brasileiros têm condições de trabalho mais precarizadas.

The aim of this study was to investigate the perception of the work context of professors of Occupational Therapy from Brazilian and Portuguese
institutions. Quantitative, observational and crosssectional research was carried out with 56 professionals. The Escala de Avaliação do Contexto de Trabalho (EACT) was applied and the results were analyzed by descriptive statistical analysis. Differences were found between the two countries, suggesting that
the work regime and the workload impact on interpersonal relationships and that the work organization is different depending on the category of dedication. Finally, it was noticed that Brazilian teachers have more precarious working conditions.
