Abstract
The scientific community world wide has devoted significant interest in the recent years in the development of micro and nano technologies. Micro and nano-joining are technologies needed in the construction of parts for diverse applications as medical devices, sensors, micro electronics and in nano devices and systems. Micro and nanojoing are emerging technologies leading to various methods of assuring bonding between two parts. First in research laboratory environments and more recently in practical applications, quite a few examples of applications of these techniques can be found.
