T1 - Organizational learning culture in effective improvement of educational organizations

N2 - The meta-reflection presented herein seeks to analyze the contribution of organizational learning culture in the promotion of improved effectiveness and efficiency as the ultimate goal of any organization. It will focus, in particular, on educational organizations. Thus, the research question that guides this study is as follows: what is the contribution of organizational learning culture to the improvement of effectiveness and efficiency of organizations in general, and especially of educational organizations? To answer this question, the authors carried out in January 2019 a comprehensive collection, selection and review of publications that address this topic. An internet literature search of publications indexed in the Web of Knowledge, Scopus, and Scielo databases was performed. The analysis concluded that, with acknowledgement of the limitations of the study, an organizational learning culture can provide positive contributions to the operation of educational organizations such as schools and improve students’ results.
