Abstract
Este artigo recorda a intervenção de Nelson Traquina enquanto docente e investigador dos Media e do Jornalismo no Departamento de Ciências da Comunicação da NOVA FCSH durante três décadas. Tem presente particularidades do contexto histórico do exercício do jornalismo em Portugal e os tempos de transição em que decorreu essa intervenção. A partir desse contributo, identifica questões para uma agenda de pesquisa no atual contexto digital.
This article intends to describe Nelson Traquina's legacy along three decades as media and journalism scholar and professor, in NOVA University's department of Communication Sciences, bearing in mind the particularities within the historical context of journalistic profession in Portugal. Departing from his legacy, the article identifies issues for a research agenda in the current digital context.
