Abstract
Neste capítulo, proponho uma análise crítica do arquivo fílmico de registos propagandistas da ciência antropológica em “Timor português”. Detalho o caso dos filmes feitos no âmbito da Missão Antropológica a Timor (MAT), dirigida por António de Almeida, contrapondo-lhe a análise de parte1 do acervo dos filmes feitos por Ruy Cinatti, depositado ao Museu Nacional de Etnologia.
