Abstract
A leitura é um importante preditor no desenvolvimento linguístico e cognitivo das crianças, pelo que o álbum ilustrado é o instrumento, por excelência, de práticas literácitas para a infância. Por isso, é significativo que os agentes educativos tenham um conhecimento estruturado e teoricamente fundamentado dos textos, pelo que os objetivos deste trabalho são: i) refletir sobre a noção de género textual do interacionismo sociodiscursivo aplicada ao álbum; ii) descrever um exemplar deste género, promovendo uma leitura integrada dos vários modos semióticos presentes, segundo a semiótica social. Finalmente, algumas propostas de ensino da língua são apresentadas para um público entre os 3 a 7 anos de idade.
Reading is an important predictor in children's linguistic and cognitive development, therefore, the illustrated album is the instrument, par excellence, of literary practices for children. It is significant that educational agents have a structured and theoretically grounded knowledge of the texts, hence the objectives of this work are: i) to reflect on the notion of textual genre of sociodiscoursive interactionism applied to the children’s book; ii) to describe an exemplar of this genre, promoting an integrated reading of the various semiotic modes present, according to social semiotics.
Finally, some language teaching proposals are presented for an audience between 3 to 7 years of age.
