Abstract
A reconstruction was made of a fetal heart including the septum and the posterior wall of the left ventricle, each requiring 30 sections 15μ thick. The magnification used was X60. Numerous Thebesius' veins were observed in the left ventricle by comparison of the serial sections with Born's reconstructed model.
