Abstract
Magnetic- and specific-heat measurements are reported on the (U1 - xThx)2Pt2In solid solutions for 0 ≤ x ≤ 0.10 where the U atoms are randomly replaced by Th. The observed enhanced Pauli paramagnetism and the non-Fermi-liquid behaviour for T > 1.7K in the substituted samples up to 10% Th showed that the magnetic behaviour is unchanged in all this composition range.
