Nietzsche on Nihilism (Eine unersättliche Diskussion?)

Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingChapter

Abstract

The paper attempts to discuss Nietzsche’s conception of nihilism. First, it considers the question of truth and why is there for Nietzsche an intrinsic link between goallessness and the denial of truth. Second, the paper aims to arrive at a provisional definition of nihilism as a negation of the value of this earthly world, to provide a very brief historical typology of nihilism, and last but not least, discuss whether Nietzsche is a nihilist.
