Abstract

A new nonlinear pentasaccharide resin glycoside Soldanelline A (1) has been isolated from a Portuguese Convolvulaceae Calystegia soldanella. The structure of compound 1 was elucidated using high-field NMR spectroscopy, mass spectrometry and chemical studies.
