Abstract
Competitive intelligence (CI) provides information, warning management of market important changes to empower organizations in terms of competitive advantages to navigate turbulent environment. In this paper we present the different phases that compose the CI, establishing a differentiation between various models. It is, also presented a conceptual model, which integrates the various previous studies. In the paper are identified of the various technological tools capable of supporting the competitive intelligence process.
