Abstract
The authors studied several zones of young hearts with the microangiographic method, and observed images corresponding to thebesian veins. Only in a few cases were they filled with micropaque, but this substance shows the opening of the thebesian veins into the cavities, which receive several sinusoids filled with contrast. These veins were found in every zone of the heart studied and also in the septum. In artherosclerotic hearts, they are quite developed.
