Abstract
In June 2016, we started the first scientific project of archaeology of the anti-Franco guerrillas in the Iberian Peninsula. Since then we have carried out three excavation seasons in two scenarios of armed resistance against the Iberian dictatorships. Both sites are humble peasant homes that served as support for anti-fascist combatants and or turned into battlefields overnight. On December 20, 1946, the house of Doña Albertina, in the village of Cambedo da Raia (Chaves, Portugal), was besieged and bombed by the Spanish Civil Guard and the Portuguese Republican National Guard. In turn, on April 20, 1949, the house of Doña Teresa in Repil (Monforte de Lemos, Lugo) was besieged by the Civil Guard, being killed there three members of the II Grouping of the Guerrilla Army of Galicia. This communication shows the results of our ethnoarchaeological research on these combats of Repil and Cambedo da Raia.
