Abstract

This paper proposes a new modulation technique for an interleaved H-bridge qZS inverter that is intended for the single-phase photovoltaic systems. The potential benefits of this topology are reduced passive components and improved quality of energy generation. The modulation technique developed allows the maximum boost control for a better utilization of the dc-link. It is developed with the required phase-shifted carrier signals and wider shoot-through state generation than in simple boost control approach.
