Abstract

In this contribution, we aim at giving continuity to the description of wine labels as a textual genre, in European Portuguese and Argentinian Spanish. Assuming the epistemological framework of Sociodiscursive Interactionism, we adopt a top-down approach, considering that social activity(ies) and genres regulate the linguistic resources mobilized. This paper focuses on the occurrences of discursive types, in the textual plan of the analyzed samples: observing operations of temporality and actoriality, we will highlight the regularities that can be verified, in Portuguese and Argentine labels - as well as what seem to be trends of the evolution of the genre.
