Abstract
This article analyzes the trajectories of various individuals in the Amazonian borders in the mid-18th century. Based on an unpublished correspondence filed in the Arquivo Público do Estado do Pará (Brazil), the text studies the social dynamics on the border located at the mouth of the Putumayo River, reconstructing the relationships established between missionaries, travelers, natives and others. It explores the circulation of people and goods across the border as well as the competition and collaboration networks between the different actors.
