Abstract

What happens when diversity is lived on a daily basis in the space we live in the neighborhood? Considering religious diversity in a society dominated by anti - Islamic sentiment: does conviviality turn into conflict? This text is the result of a project entilted Conviviality and Superdivertity, and hopes to rethink the conflicts surrounding the Muslim religion in Western
societies, using the example of a neighbourhood in Lisbon, Portugal, before the Islamic State gained such visibility.
