Abstract
Este capítulo tem como objetivo disponibilizar a investigadores e a profissionais uma cartografia explora- tória dos núcleos temáticos emergentes na relação entre as tecnologias de Inteligência Artificial (IA), a investigação em media e jornalismo, e a prática profissional. É realizada uma análise temática dos artigos de investigação publicados entre 2015 e 2020 nas vinte revistas científicas internacionais mais cotadas na subcategoria Comunicação (N=41). Este exame re- sulta na apresentação de um mapeamento cronológico dos principais temas de investigação na articulação entre as tec- nologias de IA e o jornalismo, enquadrado por uma exposição contextual de projeções sociotécnicas elaboradas sobre esta tecnologia emergente.
This chapter aims to provide researchers and practitioners with an exploratory cartography on the emerging thematic cores in the relationship between Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies, media and journalism studies,
and professional practice. A systematic thematic analysis of research articles published between 2015 and 2020 in the top twenty international scientific refereed journals in the subcategory Communication is conducted (N=41). This approach results in the chronological presentation of the main research topics in the articulation between AI and journalism, framed by a contextual exposition of socio-technical projections about this emerging technology.
