Abstract

We use ANOVA and the Scheffé multiples comparisons method to study the influence of location, sex and country on the average cancer death age. The data used was from the World Health Organization (WHO) files for 2011. The locations considered were: Stomach, Liver, Intestine, Pancreas and Lung and the countries: Portugal, Norway, Greece, Romania and Australia. Highly significant results were obtained for the effects of the three factors and the interaction between location and sex.
