Abstract

The problems of the efficiency of 110 kV overhead transmission lines are considered, considering the climatic and operational factors, aiming to increase the reliability of the functioning of the region's power system. The article provides a feasibility study for the effectiveness of reconstruction, to establish the nature of electricity generation, identify the reasons for the active power shortage in the winter period, give the characteristics of the electrical system of the Sughd region and the characteristics of 110 kV overhead power lines, identify the main factors affecting the number of technological violations using the example of a specific power line. An option for reconstructing is proposed to increase the reliability, comparing the annual costs for the reconstruction to the volume of the annual losses as a gross regional product (GRP) from the lack of electric energy. The influence of natural and climatic factors on the number of technological disturbances has been calculated. A comparison is made of the reduced annual costs for the reconstruction of lines with the volume of annual losses of the gross regional product from the lack of electricity as a result of technological disruptions.
