N2 - In business and manufacturing environments, situations often occur where companies must conduct operations embracing several specific and parallel domains integrating many dedicated models, as for example in the automotive, aircraft, shipbuilding, or building and construction sectors [11]. Given these circumstances, applications should deal with administrative management, engineering subjects, suppliers and materials, subcontractors, electrical circuits, as well as furniture and appliances. Clearly those applications must consider the extension and reuse of previously existing application protocols and business objects when creating new integrated components.
