Abstract

This impact evaluation examines short- and medium-term impacts of a cash transfer programme in Macedonia that is conditional on children enrolling in secondary school. It provides evidence on the effectiveness of different transfer modalities on improving schooling outcomes and changing household expenditure patterns.
