Abstract
The programming paradigms used in CIM-CASE are presented. The concept of CIM-CASE is briefly summarized as a system that will support a systems' designer in deriving particular CIM architectures out of a reference model and resorting to an Electronic Catalog of CIM components. Particular emphasis is put on the illustration and justification of the different paradigms used as well as in a brief presentation of the implementation details. This work has been developed in the context of CIM-PLATO, an Esprit project of the European Community, involving 14 partners (universities and industry) from 7 countries.
