Abstract

Front Cover: Cellulose gratings are responsible for iridescence: shear, transparent, free‐standing cellulosic films prepared from liquid‐crystalline solutions can develop iridescence arising from the modulation of the film surface, similar to that found in the petals of the “Queen of the Night” tulip variety.
