Abstract
This paper presents a FPGA based controller for power converters. The processing power and response time offered by reconfigurable hardware platforms allowed the implementation of a prototype, using a single FPGA, including the controller, a failure detection system, a graphical user interface to control the converter parameters and an embedded virtual oscilloscope to visualize the output voltage and current waveforms.
