Abstract
No nosso artigo analisamos "Biografia de Cristal", obra que evoca a infância e a juventude checas do autor Jorge Listopad, época marcada pela Segunda Guerra Mundial. Também abordamos a questão da identidade narrativa, desenvolvida por Ricœur (1990), e examinamos a questão do confronto entre o eu e o outro (Todorov, 1982; Kristeva, 1988; Saïd, 2005). Tentamos apreender as diferentes questões ontológicas que dizem respeito à questão da identidade, alteridade e espacialidade. Além disso, observamos os elos subjacentes entre História e memória, uma vez que este romance, publicado em 1992, evoca eventos históricos reais (Robin, 1989), de forma a entender como o autor insere a sua própria representação desses eventos históricos que o marcaram pessoalmente.

In this paper, we analyze "Biografia de Cristal", a work evoking the Czech childhood and youth of Jorge Listopad, in a period marked by the 2nd World War. We also address the question of narrative identity, developed by Ricœur (1990), and examine the confrontation of the self and the other (Todorov, 1982; Kristeva, 1988; Saïd, 2005). We try to address different ontological questions concerning identity, alterity and spatiality. In addition, the underlying links between History and memory are highlighted, since this 1992 novel which evokes historical events (Robin, 1989), in order to understand how the author included his own representations of such historical events that marked his own personality.
