Abstract

Based on the objectives of The Geopolitics of Gas and the Future of Euro-Russian Relations - Geo4Ger project (FCT - PTDC/IVC-CPO/1295/2014), this article presents and analyses the results obtained from two prospective methods-that have been articulated - a DELPHI exercise and the buildup of Scenarios - for the relationship of the Euro-Russian energy relations within the 2035 horizon. Of the eight future scenarios drawn for this Euro-Russian energy relation we have developed four: two extreme scenarios (Scenario 1 and 8) and two intermediate ones (Scenarios 4 and 5), that we think can cover a useful variety of plausible evolutions.
