Abstract
A tetralogia napolitana de Elena Ferrante, publicada entre 2011 e 2014, em Itália, foi traduzida em diversos países e rapidamente espalhou-se pelo mundo, popularizando e pautando debates entre leitores, especialmente no público feminino, a partir da história de vida e de amizade de Lila e Lenù. Neste estudo, analiso a estratégia de emancipação de Lenù por meio da sua trajetória com a escrita.
Elena Ferrante’s Neapolitan Novels were published between 2011 and 2014, in Italy, and quickly spread across the world in a very comprehensive way, popularizing and guiding debates among readers, especially the female audience, based on the story of friendship between Lila and Lenù. With this study, I analyze the strategy for the emancipation of the character Lenù, within the framework of writing and narrative.
