Abstract

Email Print Request Permissions A method for powering electronic devices by the energy obtained from the voltage drop between the neutral conductor and the protective earth conductor in some types of electrical networks is investigated. Some of the advantages are shown: an easy to apply transformerless power supply; a useful information is obtained about the consumer load, no dangerous connection to the phase voltage, etc.
