The study of Genoese activities in the Kingdom of Granada has mostly focused in the main ports. On this occasion we tackle their presence and economic interests in Guadix through the reconstruction and following of three family-merchant groups (Gentile, Cigala, De Vares) in a key moment, the transition from Islamic to Christian rule
