title = "Effect of Unbalanced Load on Electrical Energy Losses in Distribution Grids with a Voltage of 0.4-20 Kv",
abstract = "It is being estimated how asymmetry of the current load in the phases of the power lines influences on the magnitude of the absolute and relative losses of electrical energy in distribution grids with a voltage of 0.4-20 kV Methods for load balancing in the phases of power lines and reducing the component of electrical energy losses from asymmetry are proposed. It was assessed how unbalanced load influences on the value of relative electrical energy losses in distribution grids of 10 kV and the effect of load asymmetry on the value of electrical energy losses in four-wire grids with a voltage of 0.4 kV. The calculation results of the absolute and relative value of electrical energy losses in distribution grids with an unbalanced load are presented. Functional dependencies of relative electrical energy losses on the asymmetry coefficient are determined for overhead power lines with a voltage of 10 kV, made with wires of various sections of the AS brand. Influence dependencies of current load asymmetry on the value of relative electrical energy losses in four-wire overhead power lines and cable power lines with a voltage of 0.4 kV are determined.",
