E-Government-Towards a strong strategy: A suggested framework for UE countries

Abstract

The main purpose of this paper is to provide guidelines for the introduction of an e-government system. There are several benefits for citizens and companies of implementing e-government. The main goal to be achieved is for a government to better serve its citizens in any way possible and to stimulate social and economic growth using information technologies as a driver. Carrying out e-government initiatives is not easy and there is the need to a proper set of guidelines in order to achieve success.
