Abstract

São conhecidos os processos levantados pelo Santo Ofício a heréticos suspeitos em matéria de fé, nomeadamente aos oriundos das “seitas” luterana e protestante. No entanto, em termos de impacto, efectivo, para as matérias tendentes ao apuramento da honra, sobretudo não havendo notícia efectiva de procedimento judicial, a historiografia tem sido bastante omissa.
