Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingChapterpeer-review

Abstract

The purpose of this chapter is to present and to discuss existing approaches regarding Sustainable Human Resource Manangement (SHRM), and to analyze in what ways might Human Resource Manangement and internal communication structure a new component for the SHRM approach based on an interactionist perspective. The proposal presented here puts forward a three-way component model for approaching SHRM in conjunction with an explanation as to both why an interactionist perspective on SHRM may be relevant and why this research field holds the characteristics necessary to flourish within the overall HRM research agenda. We correspondingly present and justify a set of research propositions that from our perspective bring significant added value toward the existing research on this area of investigation.
