N2 - Telerehabilitation has emerged as a vital component of healthcare delivery, allowing for the provision of remote rehabilitation services to individuals with diverse needs. However, aspects such as remotely managing patient care, onboarding processes and training plans, present unique challenges in this context. eHealth dashboards may constitute a comprehensive solution, to support the decisions of clinical professionals and provide tools to efficiently assess and manage patient data, streamline onboarding procedures, and curate personalized training programs. In addition, dashboards should leverage the advancements in eHealth technology and integrate features for secure data management, seamless communication through healthcare standards, graphical representation of data and AI-driven suggestions, while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and ethical considerations. More to it, the consideration of the user perspective is critical, for which the application of user-centered design principles and iterative development processes can directly contribute to enhance the effectiveness and accessibility of the telerehabilitation services. This work presents the different design steps and development of the TeleRehaB DSS eHealth dashboard tailored to support clinical professionals in the domain of telerehabilitation medicine. It focusses the conceptual framework, design requirements, key features, and implementation strategies, highlighting its potential to revolutionize the delivery of telerehabilitation medicine and improve patient outcomes in diverse healthcare settings.
