Abstract
Deolinda Rodrigues (1939-1968) foi uma poetisa, intelectual e guerrilhei-ra do MPLA na luta contra o colonialismo português em Angola. O seu diário foi publicado em 2003 sob o título Diário de um exílio sem regresso. Neste artigo, de-fende-se que a escrita de Deolinda constitui um acto de escrita da história, per-correndo eventos significativos de uma década de vicissitudes políticas, culturais e socias do seu país. O texto será, ainda, uma fonte de reflexão sobre os movimen-tos negros, o papel da mulher nos movimentos de libertação e a actual recepção da obra de Deolinda junto da sociedade civil em Angola

this article, it is argued that Deolinda’s writing constitutes an act of writing history, covering significant events of a decade of political, cultural and social events of her country. The text will also be a source of reflection on black movements, the role of women in liberation movements, and the current reception of Deolinda’s work along with civil society in Angola.
